Adult Education is another important component of Neighbourhood Church’s mandate to foster mature, wise, curious, and growing disciples of Christ. Jesus’ command to his followers is clear: “you shall love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind” (Luke 10:27). As such, we seek to love God with all of who we are—including our minds.
Adult classes provide opportunity to stretch our minds, to grow in our love and commitment to Christ and the world he loves. Class topics will include books of the Bible, history, theology, current issues, relationships, and more. Classes are interactive and discussion-based and represent an excellent forum for asking questions and learning more about who God is and what we are to do and to be for his sake.
Our commitment to adult education comes out of a conviction that God wants his followers to be well rounded, humble, inquisitive, and excited learners about his word and his world.
