| This arm of the church grew out of a long, Neighbourhood Church tradition of prison ministry at Nanaimo Correctional Centre. Various projects such as the Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Boxes, Christmas hampers of several varieties, and help to specific families in crisis have been part of this ministry. When an opportunity to respond to a need is identified, we want to be ready to mobilize an effective and resourceful response. We have been privileged to serve in this way many times. |
