Sunday Worship
| The Bible challenges God's people to gather weekly as a larger community. This is instruction that goes back to the 10 Commandments. In the Old Testament this gathering centered around the Sabbath and the Synagogue. In the New Testament the church gathered on the first day of the week. The purpose of this gathering is to worship our God, to hear His Word preached and to strengthen out bonds to our community. When we do this God promises to strengthen and bless us as we do His work throughout the week. |
